The Town of Ste. Anne invites applications for the full-time position of
Public Works Personnel
The Town of Ste Anne, is seeking an individual to perform a wide range of duties, and skilled tasks.
Primary Duties
- Machine operation (grader, skid steer, loader);
- Operate garbage trucks, sewer truck, street sweeper, sanding truck, dump truck & riding mowers as required;
- Road maintenance including patching streets, sidewalk maintenance and construction, culver replacements, installing traffic signage
- completing assigned maintenance tasks of parks, playgrounds, hockey & curling arenas,
- misc. painting & concrete works
- perform other duties as assigned
- Snow removal, monitor lift stations, lagoon maintenance
Qualifications:
- minimum grade 12 education
- possess a Class 3 air-endorsed driver’s license (willing to Obtain)
- Class 2 wastewater certificate (willing to obtain)
- should be mechanically inclined
- normal work hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and must be willing to work days, evenings and weekends as required (on call)
