Animal BY-LAW Officer

Animal Control Officer and Poundkeeper:  

Rural Animal Management Services is the current Animal Control service for the Town of Ste. Anne. If you have any animal issues, i.e. barking, running at large, etc. you can contact them by phone at 204-223-5521, by email at rams@animalmanagement.ca or contact them through their Facebook page.

licensing your dog

Please ensure your dog(s) are licensed each and every January 1st. Licensing your dog(s) assists with the safe and prompt return of your dog(s) in the event of impoundment and reduces the costs assessed to you associated with same and subsequent redemption.

Dog licenses are available at the Town of Sainte-Anne office during regular hours.

fee schedule

  • For each spayed female or neutered male dog - $5.00
  • For each male dog or cat - $10.00
  • For each female dog or cat - $10.00
  • For each dog declared to be a dangerous animal (Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Pit Bull,Staffordshire Bull Terrier, America Staffordshire Terrier or any dog of mixed breeding) - Not allowed in the Town of Sainte-Anne
  • Replacement tag - $2.00
  • Transfer of license - Not applicable
