Animal By-Law Officer
Animal Control Officer and Poundkeeper:
Rural Animal Management Services (RAMS) is the current Animal Control Service for the Town of Sainte-Anne. If you have any animal issues (i.e. barking, running at large, etc.) please contact RAMS by phone at 204-223-5521, by email at rams@animalmanagement.ca or through their Facebook page.
Licensing Your Animal:
As per the Town's Animal Control By-Law 5-2008, Town residents are required to license their dog(s) and/or cat(s). A maximum of 2 dogs and/or 2 cats are permitted per property. Licensing dog(s) and cat(s) assists with the safe and prompt return of the pet to their owner(s) in the event of impoundment, and reduces the costs assessed that are associated with same and subsequent redemption.
Animal licenses are available at the Town of Sainte-Anne office during regular hours of 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Proof of rabies vaccination is required upon application.
Fee Schedule:
- For each dog or cat - $10.00
- For each dog declared to be a dangerous animal (Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, America Staffordshire Terrier or any dog of mixed breeding with the aforementioned breeds) - Not permitted in the Town of Sainte-Anne.

- Transfer of license - Not applicable
