RFP - Canteen Lease 2026-2027 Season

The Town of Ste. Anne is requesting submissions for proposals to lease the canteen for the 2026/2027 season. (Season beginning October 1, 2026 and ending March 31, 2027)

The canteen is located in Ste. Anne, MB at the Maurice Chaput Arena, serving both the arena & curling facilities during the hockey and curling season; as well as during special events (not including Dawson Trail Days). The lessee will ensure that the canteen facilities are operational, and coordinated with users directly and opened to general public during the following times and events:

1. Monday to Friday during the hours of 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm, or as per arena schedule and all games and tournaments thereafter.
2. Saturday and Sunday during the hours of 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and all games and tournaments thereafter, or as per the arena schedule.
3. All curling ice usage: bonspiels and special events and as per provided curling schedule (only close 30 minutes after start of final game each day)

The Town of Ste. Anne is not responsible for the general maintenance pertaining to canteen premises. The lessee is responsible for the cleanup of all garbage created by canteen patrons, including the cleaning of tables. The Town insurance does not cover inventory belonging to the lessee and does not cover the lessee’s public liability requirements; the lessee will obtain the necessary insurance coverage that is not covered by the Town.

Proposal for leasing the canteen must be placed in a sealed envelope marked “Confidential – Lease of Canteen”, Town of Ste. Anne, 14 Centrale Avenue, Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1B8 and received on or before August 4th, 2026. The Town of Ste. Anne reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, including proposals meeting the lease criteria.
