Community Grant Application Requirements

It is the policy of the Town of Ste. Anne to consider, within its financial capacity, modest financial support to non-profit organizations within the Town. This support is provided in recognition of the value these organizations provide to the well-being and growth of the community and in helping the Town retain strong community focus.

The Town supports the enhancement of a positive quality of life for all its residents. One means of achieving this goal is through the provision of grants to organizations that contribute to the general interest and advantage of the community. The Town also recognizes that supporting volunteer community-based organizations is often fundamental to maintaining this quality of life. This policy has been formulated to foster consistency with the awarding of grants to groups whose benefits and services are enjoyed by the residents of the Town.

The Town of Ste. Anne is now accepting grant applications for the calendar year 2027, in which will be reviewed by Council during budget discussions. All organizations that meet the following eligible criteria may submit their grant application using the below form. Should you have any questions, please contact our office at town@steanne.ca.

To be considered for a Community Grant, organizations must:

  • Be a non-profit organization or registered society.
  • Be community-based, or provide a service not otherwise available within the Town.
  • Be in good financial standing with the Town.
  • Submit a completed and signed application by December 15.
  • Include:
    • Recent financial statements
    • Minutes from the most recent Annual General Meeting
    • Current executive/membership contact information
    • A brief organization profile, history, and accomplishments
  • Clearly state the amount of funding requested and how the funds will benefit the community.

How Applications Are Evaluated

Council considers applications based on factors including:

  • Enhancement of, or have benefit to, the quality of life and well-being of Town residents
  • Long-term community benefit
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Support for underserved populations
  • Recreational and cultural initiatives
  • Community support through funding or volunteer contributions

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Late applications may be considered at Council’s discretion if funding remains available.

Approved grants are included in the Town’s annual Financial Plan. Grant recipients must submit a report on the use of funds by December 15 to remain eligible for future funding.

Requests made through general mass mailings, email campaigns, or telemarketing campaigns will not be considered.

Status / Statut


If successful, your organization will be required to provide an evaluation of the use of the grant at the end of the calendar year, or the end of the Project, or completion of Capital Expenditure, whichever occurs later. *
