voting and the election process, is available online:

Municipal Office—we are happy to assist you.
What Am
I Really Voting For?
Municipal government is the closest
level of government to the people. While it may be made up of friends,
neighbours, and colleagues, its role is vital to the success and growth of our
community.
Municipal councils are given a broad range of powers by the Province. Elected
officials must follow these guidelines while also shaping the future of the
community through planning and decision-making.
Council responsibilities include:
· Understanding the needs and priorities of residents
· Providing and maintaining services and programs
· Creating policies and initiatives
· Managing local budgets and resources
· Planning for the future of the community
What If I Don’t Live in Town but Own Property?
If you are a Manitoba resident who
owns property in the Town and meet voter eligibility requirements, you may be
able to vote as a non-resident property owner.
If a property is jointly owned by multiple non-residents, only two owners
may vote. To do so, written consent from the majority of owners must be
obtained and submitted to the Senior Election Official (SEO).
